The most common use of Thyme is within essential oils. Other uses of thyme include people using it for their diets to get additional health benefits while also losing weight. It is a versatile herb with many uses.

This noodle soup is most commonly found in India and Nepal. Where they add multiple spices such as garam masala and chili powder to it for added spice and hotness. The noodle soup called Thhukpa will take you an hour to make, provided you have the right ingredients and expertise required.
Our first drink on this list is called Thandai. It is an Indian cold drink that is made from a mixture of almonds, fennel seeds, watermelon kernels, rose petals, pepper, poppy seeds, cardamom, saffron, milk, and sugar. Although it is not a healthy drink, it is surely a masterpiece in terms of taste. It is usually made in Indian households on the occasion of the Holi festival or Maha Shivaratri; their religious celebratory days. It can take up to 30 minutes to make this dish and includes an extra few hours to be drinkable. Not only that but this drink can also be frozen and sometimes be eaten as an ice cream called the Thandai kulfi. The flavor and the visual of this drink can differ based on what dried fruits are used in the making of the drink.

7. Thumbprint Cookie
A thumbprint cookie is no ordinary cookie that you bake on Christmas night. It is filled with exciting ingredients like apricot jam and is often made with brown sugar to balance the number of calories within it. The name comes from the shape of the cookies that looks like a thumb impression of a thumbprint. The cookie is usually only eaten as a snack and dessert. The original thumbprint cookie came from Sweden and is now found in various parts of the world.

Theeyal is another dish coming from India. It is mostly consumed by people in the Southern state known as Karela with rice. The name of this dish translates to “burnt dish” and has been given this name due to its nature of having slightly burnt or roasted coconut within it. The ingredient for this include but are not limited to roasted coconut, coriander seeds, dried red chili, and fenugreek which are grounded into a paste to pour over rice. After being grounded to paste, the ingredients are then cooked in tamarind water with vegetables to give it a rich and spicy flavor. If you decide to make this dish, it will take you upwards of 40 minutes.
Tiep or thieb is a traditional dish from the country of Senegal. It is mostly consumed in areas such as Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, and The Gambia. It was made famous by the famous chef named Penda Mbaye in the nineteenth century. The name of this dish, when translated, comes out to be rice and fish. Thieboudienne is actually the traditional dish in Senegal and is made by boiling fish, rice, and tomato sauce in a singular pot. This dish has many versions to it depending on what extra ingredients you add to it. Some of the most common versions are known as tiep yappa and tiep ganaar. This is an exceptionally hard dish to master and can take you 2 to 3 hours to craft.
10. Thengai Sadam
Yet another food starting with TH comes from the southern part of India. The Thengai Sadam or coconut rice does not have all that much to it. It is an easy dish to make which includes adding freshly grated coconuts, tempering spices, and curry leaves to some rice. The rice is typically served with other side dishes such as Daal. This dish has a 40 minutes version that includes making the rice without the addition of the ingredients and then mixing them together. While it also has a 25-minute version that embraces adding all the ingredients in one pot with the rice and crafting the dish at once.
